When we noticed that no hot water was flowing through our pipes we called a plumbing service. After a couple of conversations, I didn't hear from them again. So I checked in with a friend, who referred us to Radiant. Tiffany, in Radiant's office, was kind, helpful and efficient. Once she scheduled us, we learned that Jacob would be coming to assess our problem. On his first visit he laid out every step he'd be taking--including looking at all plumbing hook ups and taking pictures of any issues. He found that our water heater was nearly dead and the water softener done for. We were offered (in digital format) a number of equipment options/combinations so that we could choose the price range and functionality we desired. Jacob also took into account that we were considering a move to a tankless water heater. We are super happy with what we purchased and appreciated Radiant's transparent process and Jacob's work to diagnose and repair our plumbing issues.

This was our first experience with Radiant and it has definitely positioned us to be lifetime customers! Our water heater started to rust out and after filling out a web form online, I was texting with Radiant to set up an appointment within just a few hours on a weekend. Anthony showed up a few days later to examine our water heater, explain the diagnosis (rusting, probably caused by cold water pipes not being up to code) and listened as I asked to explore tankless replacement options. He provided six different options for me to choose, including options for my water softener that I mentioned also needs service. Once we chose an option, Anthony got to work and completed the job extremely quickly by himself - hauling away TWO water heaters and upgrading to tankless within a few hours! The job was done extremely well, I felt very informed of my options, Anthony was incredibly professional and friendly. Radiant is great!

Okay these guys killed it. My water heater AND AC kicked the bucket in the same week and the guys at Radiant were able to come get both of them replaced in the span of 2 days.

Pete Ben-Simon took the call for the water heater and came out the next day and installed in just a couple of hours.

Dillon Revels came by the same day to assess the AC damage and then referred me to Cory Sinclair who was able to lay out the options we had for a replacement. My family doesn’t come from money at all so both of these happening at once is a NIGHTMARE for us financially. Cory was really mindful of that once I told him and did his best to find us a unit that was at a reasonable price.

The next day Nestor Lopez and his other coworker (who’s name i forgot unfortunately) dropped by the next day to install the AC unit.

Literally everyone I interacted with the entire time was great. Everyone was willing to explain the issues and walk me through understanding my options without trying to SELL me anything which I very much appreciated.

This is a really great team of people and I cannot recommend them enough!

I want to thank Trevor for a job well done! Trevor went above and beyond to help me with my water heater issue today. When I woke up this morning, there was water running all over my water heater and out to my garage. I didn’t know what to do. I called three plumbers and only Radiant answered my call and sent Trevor right away. He called me on his way to my home to let me know he was on the way. He even attempted to walk me through figuring out how to shut off the water to reduce more damage. Soon as Trevor arrived, he brought calmness to the situation. He made me feel at ease and figured out a solution to the problem. The expansion tank had burst and caused all the damage. He worked with me all day and reached out to a mitigation team to assess the damage. They worked with my insurance to get the claim going as Trevor worked diligently to get a temporary water heater installed for me until the new water heater can be installed after the water damage is repaired (could be two weeks). He assured before he left that my daughter and I would have hot water during this interim period. Thank you Radiant for sending Trevor. He truly was an angel sent.

Our 20 year old system gave out so I called at around 3 pm and I was able to get a tech to come out that evening to take a look. He gave us a very thorough understanding of what was going on and the option to fix it but we had already been looking at replacing it so we decided it was time to bite the bullet. They worked with us and were able to give us plenty of options for install and once we picked we had the installers out the very next morning and the installer Rene was just as easy to work with and informative. They made sure to take the time to show me how the new thermostat works and where and how to change out filters or get to the emergency shutoff.

Less than 24 hours for an entirely new system. Very happy with the work of this team!

Have not used Radiant before so not sure what to expect. Scheduling the appointment was easy. I received text updates as to when Eric, the service person would show up. Even received a call for the office when he was 10 min's away. He was extremely courteous. Looked at the problem and gave me options on what it could be. The sink was plugged but kept filling from the air conditioning condensate. He was not sure how much work would be required and how extensive it might be but he gave a few estimates and also was honest to say if what he did would not work it might require more evasive work. I went for the best option without running new lines. He ran a camera and noticed a small plug after which it looked clear. He said I did not need to do the extensive cleaner I had picked as removing this plug should take care of it. The reduced the price quite a bit. That level of support and honesty is pretty amazing and has made me a future repeat customer... I would also go as far as recommend to others. Once really positive experience would result in many more. Great work Eric!

I cannot thank Mr. Talmage New enough for his very thorough inspection and most of all honesty. I explained to Talmage of the plumbing issues we were having and the horrible experience we have had with the plumbing in our home since we bought our house a year ago. He gave me a run down of the possible scenarios we could have and assured me he would try to find the best solution. He was very comforting and sympathetic to my situation and I could tell he was honest in wanting to help. After inspecting the problem he thankfully told me that the worst case scenario, that I was afraid of, was NOT the issue in our home. He then proceeded to show me exactly where the issue was and what needed to happen to be repaired.

Not knowing about plumbing or these types of issues and being a new homeowner he could have easily taken advantage and I never felt that way with Mr. New. On the other hand he made me feel completely trustworthy of him and Radiant. I am forever grateful for him and will definitely recommend Radiant to anyone who needs it.

We first used Radiant Plumbing June 21 for a small hose leak and shower leak. Jeff was our technician and he was great. He showed up on time, began work promptly, answered all our questions thoroughly, was patient and kind. We ended up having a shower issue two months later, our shower handle came right out and the water was flowing nonstop. Luckily Jeff had shown my husband and me how to turn off the water to our house in an emergency when we first met him.

We were grateful, but had mistakenly thought the handle coming off was Jeffs fault....well it turns out it was our house's fault. Radiant Plumbing sent Jeff out the next morning and he was really compassionate about our situation. He explained in knowledgeable detail what our problem was, how it originated, and what our treatment options were.

Jeff managed to address not only the major handle issue but recognized some other issues that would be coming up, and gave us options on how to address them if we wanted to. The prices were so reasonable that we agreed to work with Jeff to do some long overdue plumbing work on our home. We never felt upsold or pushed. Everything Jeff said was backed by facts, he felt like a knowledgeable trusted neighbor, and we're grateful for his patience with us.

Jeff was friendly, polite, and patient throughout. He also was accommodating to us around a schedule conflict on our end. We couldn't ask for better service and highly recommend him and Radiant Plumbing.

Great experience from the start. After booking, Radiant stayed in contact with me via text every step of the way from the costs to the tech that would be over. Took time to call me and asked about any covid precautions I’d prefer and the ones they use.

Before my appointment, they let me know “Grant” would be my tech, sent a photo of him, a thorough bio or his experience and what he does in his off time. They very much humanized him and he was a great guy plus very knowledgeable.

He looked over the AC unit, asked tons of questions, then gave his evaluation and cost breakdown with options. We choose what we wanted, he was able to do the work right that day and was done. Super impressed with Grant. Radiant- if you’re reading this, probably should give him a raise to hold onto him. He could easily be transitioned to a different industry and with his character and work ethic, he will be successful.

My AC quit working suddenly and so I called the company that did the install for diagnosis and repair. They told me they were backed up and it would be a month or more before they could get to my issue. In August. In Texas. Unacceptable!!

I then called Radiant and they were very responsive to my issue. They had a tech scheduled to come and solve my problem on a Friday. Prior to the appointment, I received a text with a pic of the tech and a bio about his experience and some of his out of work interests (pretty cool!) Dillon arrived in time and jumped right in on my issue. Unfortunately, the blower motor had failed and they did not have the part on the van for it. He spent over an hour on the phone with Trane to make sure the warranty covered the parts needed and to track them down in the Austin area. They wouldn’t get the part until Saturday and could finish the job hopefully on Monday. As he left he said I would be contacted to set a time for the repair install.

About 3 hours later, Radiant called me back and said they had found the part needed locally and could come back that afternoon to complete the repair. I was blown away! Name another company that would come back a second time to same day. I couldn’t believe it!! The tech was back and made the repair so my family and I could have a comfortable weekend. Dillion was great and walked me through the whole process, broke down the repair and what he was going to do, and even offered some small upgrade suggestions to my system that the original installer should have included and didn’t. I would request Dillon on future AC needs and Radiant has won another customer for life!!!

We had been having issues with our AC for a couple of weeks before we called Radiant. Our drain line was backing up which was causing the ac to shut off. Before we called radiant we had another company come out to diagnose the issue, they basically just flushed the line and called it a day without really looking into why it was happening. Sure enough a week or so later it happened again so we decided to call Radiant.

Radiant's approach to the issue was night and day compared to the other company. They were very thorough in diagnosing the issue, inspecting the indoor and outdoor units as well as all of our ductwork. Long story short our old system needed a lot of repairs but we ultimately decided to replace the entire system since it was really old and reaching the end of its life.

Shoutout to Ian, Ryan, Timothy and JT, they were all very friendly and knowledgeable about diagnosing the issue to begin with and then installing the new system. They walked us through everything we needed to know to maintain the new indoor and outdoor units, installed and set up a new thermostat, and installed a new return vent because the location of our unit wasn't getting enough air flow. Even going above and beyond to go buy paint to match our existing wall and trim color to make the new return look like it had always been there.

We will definitely be using radiant again in the future.

We recently observed drainage symptoms inside our house that indicated a partial blockage in the main sewer line. Within a minute of arriving, Alexis observed that the blockage was on the city's side of the drainage network (this is the first time we've had drainage issues that far downstream in this house, and I had failed to realize that the two customer line cleanouts were by the top of the driveway on the other side of our duplex).

As she explained, this means that the city is responsible for clearing the blockage. After calling the city to get an estimate as to how long it would take them to send out technicians, Alexis clearly laid out all of our options, which included waiting an estimated 1-2 hours for the city vs. having her address the issue (and she provided up-front price breakdowns for the various options at her disposal).

I ultimately decided to let the city take the first pass at mitigating the blockage (in fact, a crew just arrived while I was typing this, so fingers crossed), but I had a great experience with Alexis, along with Radiant's dispatching/communication, so 5 stars to both of them.

If you know that you value excellent customer service, timeliness and pricing transparency, you can’t beat Radiant Plumbing. I’ve called them out to my home 3 different times and been pleased with their service every single time.

Most recently, an absolutely wonderful guy named Eric came out to fix a clogged drain and install a new toilet in a home we had recently purchased out in Pflugerville. He was patient, detail oriented and very kind, even as the visit ended up being much longer than expected when he discovered a faulty valve that needed replacement. I also appreciated that he explained everything that he was working on to me each step of the way so that I knew what he was doing and had visibility into what I could expect to pay for the service. The work Eric did looks great and we’re so excited to finally have working sinks and toilets in our new home!

Our AC of less than 2 years stopped cooling and I reached out to a few companies, but only Radiant was able to schedule someone on the same day. Nick not only found and fixed the issue (replaced capacitor in the outdoor AC unit) in 30 mins, but he also patiently explained all the diagnostics that he was doing. He also spent additional time to make sure other components of the AC were in good shape. I appreciate the attention to details and friendliness. Thank you Nick!

Overall very satisfied with the service, but have one consideration regarding price: My cost for replacing the capacitor was $178 which is the minimum repair fee that Radiant charges for AC work. This is higher than some of the other quotes I received ($90-$120) from other companies but those companies didn’t have availability on the same day. So if you know the issue is relatively straight forward to fix and you can afford to wait a day or so, consider price comparing with others before making a final call.

We called Radiant Plumbing after we noticed a water leak in our kitchen. We were in a time crunch and they were able to schedule us quickly, before we left for vacation. They sent their representative, Preston Nichols, and he was excellent to deal with! He was on time, skillful, friendly, and very professional. It turned out to be a problem with our dishwasher but Preston was quick to diagnose it and set our minds at ease. While he was here, we mentioned that our one year-old water heater needed to be flushed. Preston was quick to take care of that, as well, saving us time and money in the process. Radiant charged us almost half the price another plumber quoted us for that service! While Radiant Plumbing isn’t our usual plumber, they gained a new customer. We won’t hesitate to call Radiant again in the future based on our VERY positive experience with them.

My AC went out over the entire 4th weekend. I called at 7am on Monday, and Alex very kindly squeezed me into the schedule, was very understanding, professional and friendly on the call. I got an updated email stating a time estimate, and then a phone call with a happy voice on the other end, advising me that Oscar is on his way. I then received a text with his photo so I would know who to look for. Oscar arrived, was the absolute best repair person of any kind I have ever had in my home. Explained everything before he did it (in terms I could understand), efficiently repaired my device, and even took the time to set me up with annual maintenance. He was very knowledgeable and pleasantly conversational, and even educated me about the barn swallows that were nesting by my front door. (Turns out, they are a protected species…… who knew??!).

A personal friend of mine, Michelle works for the company. The fact that she works there, and the friendly commercials on the radio that make me feel like I know Brad and Sarah, are the reason I chose Radiant.

I am now sitting in my home that has been 85-90 degrees, and the AC is working. Life can return to normal. Thank you so much Alex, Oscar, Michelle, and the entire Radiant team😊😊

Had two failing water heater tanks removed and replaced with a single tankless system as well as new water softener installed. The initial installer was very professional and responsive and walked me through everything he did. Really appreciate that they were willing to install a water softener that was not purchased through Radiant. Everything was just finished so time will tell down the road, but for right now i am very happy with the services, price, and professionalism displayed by Radiant.

1 Month Update: What started as a great idea (tankless hot water) turned downward fast and started losing water pressure (topping out at 0.4 GPM) as well as losing all hot water! After two more visits without progress to resolve the issue, a new technician showed up and had the problem fixed within an hour, and it was such a small simple fix. Sometimes all you need is a second set of eyes. Thanks again for all the heavy lifting Scott, and thank you Zak for finding the culprit and allowing my family to once again bather in hot water!

Zach was communicative, reliable, timely, and offered multiple solutions at various price points to tackle a variety of projects in our home. In the end, we hired Zach to install a new hot water heater with leak detection and auto shutoff, repair a leaking sink, remove an unwanted down draft that the builder installed in the kitchen, replace a failing toilet valve, plum the house for a water softening and filtration system, replace the rusted out house shutoff valve, replace a faulty pbr valve to get our water pressure up to standard, and install a moen whole house leak detection and auto shutoff system. Zach completed all of this work quickly, independently, and continued to follow up with us after work was completed to make sure all was well. Zach also took the time to answer our many questions and educate us about our options. If you're looking for a professional for repairs with the heart of a teacher that can address your concerns, you can't go wrong with Zach.

I had a clogged drain that was slowly getting worse. Radiant was timely in communication and arriving. I was presented with the options to unclog drain without any pressure. Even though I went with the cheapest option to snake the drain, they were thorough and after discovering there may be bigger issues, the manager was sent out and video scoped the pipes at no cost to show (while I watched) the actual issue, which was a half filled slow draining pipe due to foundation issues and the pipe rising. The location was pinpointed and was exactly where we had floor tiles crack due to ground fluctuations. All in, they were here for about three hours and I was only charged for the drain cleaning service and I now know my options for a long term solution. Again, all of this with no sales pressure not even to fix the ultimate issue after an estimate was given. Highest recommendation for their service, especially in an industry where it can be hard to find someone you trust.

This last weekend, we discover a slow leak coming out of our foundation in our laundry room. I knew this would be a major problem and imagined people with jackhammers digging into our foundation to find the leak and fix it.
Thankfully I called Radiant Plumbing on Saturday and they were able to send someone out promptly on Monday morning.
Tyler arrived bright and early and started assessing the situation. He looked over the plumbing throughout the house and explained the process of leak detection in a way that I could understand. Listening to his explanation I could see that he was an expert at this very thing.
The process he went through to locate the leaking copper pipe in the foundation is a story unto itself. Once he found the problem the process involved cutting into some of my walls and re-piping that section of my hot water line through my walls avoiding any need to get into the foundation. He was very careful to cut square holes in the sheetrock so that any repairs to my sheetrock would be easier.
He was finished by early afternoon and did a fantastic job of cleaning up everything. I think our bathroom was cleaner after he left than when he arrived!
He absolutely fixed the problem with the best solution for my house, and I have a two-year warranty on the repair. He did so with the least disruption, best quality, and great price. What more could you ask for?
If I could give him a 10 star rating I would.

We had a leak in our front yard and needed to find its source. After having 4 different plumbing companies come out and try to figure out where the water was coming and giving us 4 different answers and no solutions for fixing any of them we had almost lost hope. We had 2 plumbers from Radiant come out and they were able to figure out what the issue was. The first one Sean had an idea of what the issue was but needed the equipment to find it and called a colleague that had the equipment. The second plumber Tyler was able to find the problem and had a several solutions. The leak was under our driveway and we opted for a new main line to be placed from the street to our home to bypass any future driveway issues. Tyler was very responsive, explained everything, gave us all options, were very respectful of us having a newborn baby, communicated with us at every step, got the job started quickly, and cleaned up after they were done. If you need a good plumber ask for Tyler and his apprentice Aaron or ask for Sean. They will be honest and get the job done.

We had an issue with our water heaters and called 6 different plumbing companies. Radiant was great from the first conversation. The intake person was honest about when she would be able to get us on the schedule but would let us know if they had a cancellation. The night before, I got a call confirming with the time. The morning of, I received a text letting me know the tech was on the way with a picture and bio of Tyler. Tyler was on time, professional and very knowledgeable. Tyler’s knowledge made us feel comfortable and we didn’t feel like he was trying to over sell. As soon as he arrived, he started troubleshooting and he figured it out. We were so happy with him that we had him perform a full service and flush the tanks in addition to the changing of broken parts. We will definitely go with Radiant again should we need anything in the future and Tyler was great!

When our water heater gave up the ghost and started leaking, I started seeking a plumber to help us. Radiant's clever ads caught my attention, so I researched the company. What I found impressed me, so I called them. They quickly had an experienced plumber, Jacob Neeb, out to our house. He was wonderfully nice and knowledgeable, quickly assessing our issues and springing into action to minimize the damage to our home. Jacob and Radiant worked with our budget, arranged for a moisture/ mold remediation team to take care of things, and provided us with estimates for several options. We were able to find the funds to not just replace the dead water heater, but to have it moved out of the middle of the house and into the garage, where the builder should have originally put it. Even though the aftermath of the Polar Vortex, Radiant kept in touch and got back to us as quickly as they could, after the emergency calls from the storm. Jacob returned and completed the relocation and installation of the new water heater, and did a wonderful job of cleaning up all the debris, all with a great attitude and a smile. Brad and Sarah at Radiant should give Jacob a raise because, thanks to him, they now have a customer for life.

We needed a new air conditioning system because ours was over 15 years old. I decided to get several estimates from different companies here in San Antonio. Each company seemed to have outrageous prices and wanted to put me into something that was above what I needed. I decided to try one more company, Schmidt Mechanical. I went on their website early in the morning and filled out my information asking for someone to contact me. By the end of the same day, Jared was sitting at our table. I told him specifically what I wanted and what I did not want, since I had gained quite a bit of information from my interaction with other companies. We had a lot of fun sitting at the table and talking about many things, but when he put pen to paper, and gave us three choices of product, service, warranties, etc., we knew right away that Schmidt Mechanical was far superior to other companies in town. We sealed the deal and decided that the following Monday would be installation day. Keeping in mind, that would be one week from the day that we sat down and closed. The very next night, our old unit decided to call it quits and we still had six more nights to go until we get the new system. I called the after hours service line and they sent someone out by 10 o’clock that night, but unfortunately the unit couldn’t even carry electricity to be repaired. They didn’t even charge me for that service call. The next morning I called the company to ask if they had any suggestions on what we could do in the meantime. They put their heads together to come up with a solution. We were very thankful to Keith when he called to tell us they were able to rearrange schedules and carve out time in order to have our new AC unit installed two days later. Schmidt Mechanical - professional, honest, dependable, excellent customer service -- a company you will not regret doing business with. Thank you Team Schmidt!
