The first company I contacted for the job (inspection for possible water damage and repairing the bathtub nozzle) was one I had done business with before with good results. However, this time around they were slow to respond and when they finally did respond it was to inform me that that could only do half of the requested work; "Would I like to schedule a time to have this done?" Thanks but no thanks...

In steps Radiant. I called them in the morning and by noon of the same day they had already visited my residence and completed the repair. If that in itself isn't impressive enough the invoice was much less than expected too. And the cherry on top are the employees. From setting up the appointment (Morgan), to the follow ups on ETA (Pauline) and the techs that visited my home and performed the repair (Gus and CR) everyone was courteous and professional. I couldn't be more satisfied with the service I received. Thanks Radiant!

I recently had the pleasure of using your company to replace parts of my HVAC unit and want to provide feedback based on the experience. Christopher Rios was the technician who repaired and serviced the unit and he was excellent. Chris was very courteous, polite, and personable. He was respectful of my home and used shoe covers to not track in dirt or other weather elements. He explained my options with clear detail and was patient as I tried to decide which option to go with. Chris was also very efficient and seemed very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and completed the work within a short timeframe. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give Chris a 10 in all categories, if you had a customer survey. I also want to compliment the ladies who took my calls; they were also polite and very courteous.

Overall, in all aspects, your company exceeded my expectations and I will definitely recommend your company to my neighbors and friends.

Cleveland was on call for the after hours service this weekend when ALL of our drains began backing up at the same time. He was extremely courteous, clean, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure our house was protected while doing his work.

We also had some major issues with our AC at the same time (lucky us) and David did an outstanding job walking me through everything he did. He was very kind to my entire family, including my curious kids who wanted to watch him work.

I've been building homes in Austin for ten years and have yet to meet a more friendly and knowledgeable mechanical contractor. Keep up the outstanding work everyone! #KeepCraftAlive

JR and Louis were sent out to my house within 30 minutes of me calling the office. My 14 year old 40 gallon water heater finally died and I needed hot water back at the house asap.

These guys spent so much time with me walking through all my options. I think they wrote up almost 10 different options with quotes and I was not pressured to install anything over-sized that didn't fit my family's needs.

As soon as we found a solution they began work immediately and were finished within a few hours!

JR and Louis were beyond professional and I wouldn't hesitate to use them and Radiant again! I'm very thankful for the care and attention I received for this unexpected situation at my home!

We had a great experience with radiant energy from beginning to end. After we received the estimate of the cost to replace our air conditioner we compared prices with a couple of other businesses. Radiant came out on top for the price and the quality of products they offer. Everyone that entered our home was very professional and clean. They are very good about laying down blankets and wearing booties so that they leave no mess behind. Rene and Anthony were the two guys that came to actually do the work. They were so nice and polite. It was a lot of work and they finished what should have taken several days in just one day. These guys were at my house from 8-2 and they were moving non stop. I don’t think they even stopped for lunch. I was very impressed. This was a couple of weeks ago so I can report that our AC is working great! We are very happy with the finished product!

This weekend our 7 year old water heater burst and leaked into our house. Our plumbers that we usually use couldn't come out for two weeks and that wasn't going to fly. I did some research and called Radiant Plumbing and Air Conditioning. Ray Davis came out immediately and gave us a quote for either replacing our existing water heater with another one or going with a tank-less water heater. We were also unsure of keeping it all up in the attic since we have two water heaters up there. We were nervous about this happening again and wanted to have a safer option. Ray quoted us on all options and was very knowledgeable of all the different brands and options we discussed. We weren't looking to spend a ton of money but with all his knowledge and experience we decided to go with a tank-less water heater. Ray immediately went to work, draining the rest of the broken tank and started prepping for the new tank-less water heater. He worked at our house for 4 days making sure we were comfortable with where he was putting everything and his work.
I wanted to have Ray get some sort of extra bonus or shout out at work. Wednesday I found a neighbors cat that had been missing for several days. It had gotten scared of me and ran down a storm drain. We tried to get him out ourselves but were not successful. Ray helped us get the drain off and even went down the drain to help coax it out. He gave the owners some of his lunch to get the cat, which was successful. This guy didn't have to help but was amazing!
Thursday Ray had an apprentice come out named Travis. This guy was just as courteous and professional as Ray. They worked most of the day to finish up the rest of the install, go the drain in and made sure each bathroom was working properly. Travis was such a great guy and did amazing work. I hope if I every need any plumbing work, Ray and Travis are available. I would recommend them in a heartbeat! Thanks so much!

I called Radiant Plumbing when I noticed water in my front yard running down into my neighbor’s yard. Checking the meter, I realized it was a break in the main water line. Radiant was quick to send a team (Jason and Nick) to help. Jason used sound detecting equipment and pumped air into the line to narrow down the location. After several tedious hours of digging the leak was finally found about 2ft down right next to the base of my concrete foundation. I am so thankful they were able to locate it and repair it!
I have used several plumbing companies in the Austin area and I feel that the Radiant team of Jason and Nick displayed the most expertise with repairing this leak. Not only were they experts, but they had such a friendly positive attitude and explained everything as it was happening.
Additionally, the team supervisor, J.R. helped me with some follow-up questions regarding my bill.
All in all, Radiant Plumbing will be my “go to” experts for any future problems.

Thank you to Daniel M. who came out yesterday for a free AC check and helped me troubleshoot an issue we had been having. He never rushed me, he answered all of my questions, showed me pictures and video of my unit malfunctioning and never once made me feel like he was rushing off to the next customer. The level of customer service Radiant had ALWAYS provided is second to none. Thank you Daniel!

I love Radiant Plumbing and Air Conditining! Found out my air conditioner had been leaking. Thought it was the washing machine. Called Radiant and they were able to get me on the list. Thank you Morgan! She was so kind and understanding. Leland come out and cleared the clog and checked the entire system. Now I can go on vacation and relax. Thanks Radiant!

Have just used Radiant again and it just keeps getting better. Worked with Benjamin Laverne and what a pleasure. As usual, Radiant is fixing the work of other plumbers in my house. The quality of work is worth the extra fees. Benjamin was so articulate and passionate about his work. His ideas for my house are outstanding. 2/25/19. Just had Cleveland Layne and Samuel Sr. To the house to clear a drain and service my sump pump. They were both courteous and professional. Cleaveland gave me many suggestions on how to prevent my drains from backing up again. Love Radiant!

My unit had been acting funky for a bit and then decided it would shed its mortal coil and go to the next life. I called an another company lets call them company A since I had a warranty with them thinking I could save a few bucks. They showed up 2 hours late of given window. Warranty didnt cover any of the perceived issues ( not really their fault, maybe). Double billed me (why pay 700 for a service call when you can pay 1400!!! ie: they ran my card twice) and then even though issue still wasnt fixed wanted to upsell me some more for close to 3k or get another sweet unit for an overpriced amount.
I'll admit I was getting desperate. Do I let the giant commercial bad guys win? Give them all my money I could be using on fishing gear? My neighbor happens to work at Schmidt Mechanical Group (shout out to Jared) and got me in touch with their service technicians for a 2nd opinion. ENTER Richard Moreno. Showed up at the beginning of time window. Diagnosed the multiple issues in a timely manner. Explained to me what was going on and why and hand held me through what needed to be done now and what to expect in the future. Worked on both of my units. My bill came to a FRACTION of what was recommended by company A. Mr. Moreno was very professional, kind, and honest. As a first time home owner whos been bamboozled by companies like company A, Schmidt Mechanical Group just gained a customer for life. Look forward to doing more business with them and their techs are awesome. Dont be like me and use company A first. Use this company.

Chris, was very friendly and informative as to what was wrong with the A/C unit. He spent time to talk with my son who owns the house. And gave him options and prices. Excellent customer service!! Later in the day Anthony and Woody came to size the house and give estimates to my son. They scheduled the install on Wednesday. Arturo and Rene showed up on time to install the system. They are very friendly. They did a great job with the install and cleaned up when they were done. Every aspect of this process was handled professionally! I highly recommend Radiant!!!

We just had a service check up. Now I am a little upset that my morning appointment didn't happen until 12:20PM , but Brett was very friendly did an efficient job checking out our system. Everything checked out so I am happy with the system that they installed.

We just had our A/C check-up. Chris was very friendly and checked out our system. He said everything looked great and informed us that this was our last checkup. He then explained the cost for the twice a year check-ups, and left his card if we had any questions.

Excellent work!! Andrew Ross did a very clean plumbing job! I had a leak in my yard that caused over 10K gallons of water to leak! 🙁 Andrew dug up the area and discovered the pipes were of poor quality. He replaced them with better quality more durable connectors and used primer as well as the blue glue! I have peace of mind now knowing the job was done nicely. The price was very reasonable, I was thinking the worse but it was much less than I imagined. Andrew was very detailed, he walked through my whole house to make sure there were no other leaks, he sat down with me and reviewed all the pricing options, sharing other updates I can do to my plumbing. He educated me on plumbing while he was doing the job, which I appreciated very much bec I didn't feel blinded by what work was being done !! Andrew was very friendly and professional, and I can see he is very passionate about his work. Thank you Radiant and Andrew for coming to the rescue!!

Andrew and his helper Gus from Radiant Plumbing and Air Conditioning did a fabulous job yesterday. They properly identified my hot water and water pressure problem, then explained the state of my 17 year old water heater , sold me a brand new one that is up to code and has many safety features. They installed it in the afternoon and last night I was thrilled with the results! Plenty of hot water, much more pressure .land I felt s much safer! It was like night snd day! They were knowledgeable, professional, effecient and left a sparkly clean work area. Am very grateful to their company and them! They deserve 5 stars and much appreciation.

Today had another crew for new AC and new furnace . Again Radiant crew did an excellent job . Tim, Arturo, Rene and earlier Jose and Jacob were super professional, courteous, , left everything in perfect order. All this crew also deserved 5 stars!

Our gas water heater quit Monday morning unexpectedly. We called around several plumbing companies, only Radiant promised to send a technician to check it up the same day. Right after lunch, Trevor came. He carefully examined the water heater and the whole plumbing system in our house. He then discussed various possibities with us. He listened to our needs repectfully and patiently. He helped us find the best solution that fits our budget.

The next morning Trevor and CR came to our house with the brand new water heater. The whole installation was done in a very thorough and professionall manner. Both young men were extremely knowledgable about what they were doing. They were also very polite. It was a delight to work with them. Their dedication to satisfy the customers deeply touched us.

We are very grateful that our water heater quit in the midst of winter, and yet we hardly suffered because we chose Radiant to help us. We highly recommend this company, especially the two great guys Trevor and CR!

Update: I had my plumbing and foundation repaired through Radiant Plumbing and couldn’t be more pleased. A shoddy plumber made significant damages to our home and we didn’t know where to start in terms of not only getting our plumbing fixed, but our foundation repaired. I called Radiant, and they not only fixed the plumbing, but they got a foundation company to come out to repair our post tension cables and concrete slab that the shoddy plumber damaged. Everyone that came out was professional, respectful of our home and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. With it being the holidays, I was impressed that Radiant and Rite Way Foundation worked so diligently to complete the plumbing and foundation repairs.
Brandon came out to do the assessment of damages and initial issue that we called the first plumber for, which was to replace our cracked plumbing pipes that roots were growing inside of. Chris was the project manager that coordinated the plumbing and foundation repairs. Jon from Rite Way foundation was awesome! Again, very knowledgeable, courteous and had a desire to do the job right.

Initial review: I was very pleased with the service that I received from Zach and Samuel. After experiencing an absolute nightmare with a different plumbing company, Radiant stepped in and saved the day. Our waterline was cut off by the previous plumbing company. Zach and Samuel came in to assess the situation. They were very empathetic and understanding to the nightmare that I experienced. Zach and Samuel were professional and communicated effectively throughout the waterline repair process. They got the job done in a timely manner.

Had a great experience with Radiant Plumbing from start to finish!!! After finding mold and water damage we needed to get someone in to fix a pipe leak right away. We initially tried to work with our Home Warranty, Landmark, that was incredibly disappointing, stressful and frustrating as one of their providers wrongly assessed the problem and the other 2 never showed up costing us days!! All of this has been happening the week before Christmas too. Talk about stress! We ended up deciding to just pay out of pocket and called Radiant. Their customer service is lovely and the plumber they sent, Dave, was wonderful and at our home in less than 20 hours! He was able to quickly assess the situation and find the true cause and was able to repair it within 2 hours. They were extremely communicative and kind every step of the way. They are my Christmas miracle! Thank you Radiant Plumbing!!!

Kevin and team at Radiant Plumbing and Air were simply awesome. They were the second opinion I called on after I had the first plumbing company came out and I didn't get a good feeling from them. I will definitely call Radiant first next time. Kevin Alan explained everything thoroughly and was patient while I rolled my options around. There was no pressure to do anything although they always made sure I understood my options.

It was a good experience since they invest in technology too. From setting the initial appointment through the Chat function on their website, to the iPad used to accept terms and conditions and make my payment. It made me feel like they were using the most up to date methods of leak detection too since they paid attention to these kinds of details.

All in all it was as great of an experience as you can have while water is pouring into your slab, but they took care of it, didn't take advantage of us, and I feel better having called Radiant.

I had what I consider one of the best experiences with Radiant Plumbing. I had to have my water heater replaced, and their company was the ONLY company out of about the 8 that I ended up calling that actually answered the phone on a Saturday. They were honest with me, which when you’re dealing with what could be a potentially large flood of something isn’t done, was refreshing in a world where bot a lot of people are honest and conscientious. When their technician Michael showed up, he was very straightforward as to what needed to be done, gave me several options for the job, and explained everything from top to bottom. Not only did he do a fantastic job with minimal interruptions of water etc.. he cleaned up after himself, and took the old one so I didn’t have to deal with it, and made sure everything was in place to make sure it passes the inspection afterward. Radiant as a company from the dispatchers to their technician(Michael) are true professionals in every sense of the word. I probably could have had a cheaper job done, but that would more than likely involve waiting much longer than desired, or the technician not doing everything that was needed to meet code(their were more than I could’ve imagined). Keep it up guys, there is a reason your rated #1.

Our A/C went down on a Sunday, so we called Radiant early in the morning, they called us back very quickly, and they arranged to have someone come out within a few hours. Service Specialist Joe L showed up when promised, he was very courteous and professional, he had the problem diagnosed and fixed well within an hour. Joe was very good at what he does, and we absolutely recommend his service. We are grateful to have Radiant available to help us so quickly on a hot day in Texas when having A/C is a must. Thank you Joe L and Radiant Plumbing and Air Conditioning, you guys are a life saver!

Wanted to post another review, but it will only allow me to add to this one. Our water heater tank needed to be replaced, and Michael came out to take care of it for us. He was very professional, and it was a pleasure to have him here. He was very knowledgeable, he answered all of our questions, and it was clearly evident that he knew what he was doing, and that he does his job well. We would definitely recommend Michael and Radiant Plumbing to our friends and family. We are happy to be a part of the Radiant family.

Alexis and Marcel were fantastic! Before the dynamic duo arrived, I’d spent a few weeks searching for leaks while my system read the leak was rapidly growing. I dreamed of sink holes under my bed and stopped all financial outflow as I was sure my property would disappear before I could pay for the solution.
Finally I called Radiant who sent Alexis and Marcel the next morning. My house is old and the cabin attached is over 100 years old. Lots of plumbing history and bubble gum fixes on a large lot. Marcel systematically isolated the problem without having to pull out the big -and probably expensive- detecting tools. Fortunately they could cap the offending line which resolved the huge leak under the newly cemented garage.
They know their trade. They identified other issues and informed me of solutions which could inexpensively divert other disasters. They explained every step towards fixing the big leak as they moved towards resolution, even keeping me appraised as to cost. After several weeks of impending doom, the dynamic duo quickly saved my plumbing, my house, my wallet and gave me back my life to proceed onward. It was no where near as expensive as I’d feared. I highly recommend just going ahead and calling them before you dream of sink holes. Absolutely 5+ stars

Radiant Plumbing was very responsive, set up an appointment that was convenient for us and Thomas showed up on time and was very professional and helpful. We told him all of our problems and he showed us what Radiant charged for the various services we asked about. We were shocked at the prices they charged but were glad to know them up front. We decided to do only two of the projects because of the cost. But we were very satisfied with the work. This company provides excellent service.

New review. 10/2/18 My water heater started leaking and Radiant came within an hour and Kevin spent all day fixing things and installing a tankless water heater. Everything was perfect. I will never call another plumbing company in Austin.

Update: I needed an adjustment to my water heater and Kevin from Radiant came right out and made the adjustment I needed. I can't wait for something else to break. I'm kidding. But it is nice to know I have a dependable company to call who will help me when I have a problem.

I was needing a routine service check on both AC units - James came out right on time - actually he was early, which worked out great for my husband and I - but SMG called and let us know that James would be a little early ( about 30 minutes) - I know other companies that would not have taken the time to do that. James did a complete and thorough check on both units - he topped it with Freon - and boy, could we tell the difference! It was cooler at 73 than it was at 69 - it was great! He explained everything that he did and made some suggestions. I always listen to what is recommended and then I set up another appointment with a different company for a second opinion - this has always worked for me even though I might pay extra for their service call - in the long run it is worth it. I guess it's like a doctor telling you to get an operation and then going elsewhere for a second opinion. It doesn't mean you don't trust the doctor, you just want to be sure. The same is true with AC units - they are expensive and I just want to have a second opinion before I just jump in and spend 10,000.00. But all in all, I highly recommend James - whether you are looking for someone to check your AC unit or just wanting a second opinion .......
