No this isn’t a phone prank (this time). I just saw the numbers regarding gallons of loss from leaking toilets, and they just floor me every time. If your toilet is leaking you could be easily be leaking 200 gallons per day!
Here is a quote from the EPA WaterSense page. “The amount of water leaked from U.S. homes could exceed more than 1 trillion gallons per year. That’s equivalent to the annual water use of Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami combined. ” I don’t know about, but last time I saw Lake Travis, it could sure use all the water we can save. If you have ANY leaks, let’s fix ‘em! Call 512 263-9988, and we will get out there ASAP, and start saving you water now. How do you know if your toilet is leaking? If you hear anything at all from your toilet a few minutes after you flush, your toilet is leaking for sure.You shouldn’t have to jiggle the handle to get the flapper to sit correctly. This is definitely a leaker. There should not be any water movement in the bowl when it has not been used. If you have any suspicion at all, call us! We will be happy to come out and check it out.
