This December, Radiant Plumbing & Air Conditioning – Austin partnered with Any Baby Can, an Austin-based organization dedicated to supporting families facing challenges like medical needs, developmental delays, and financial struggles. For Radiant, this partnership wasn’t just about giving back—it was a deeply personal and powerful way to embody the holiday spirit and strengthen our connection to the Austin community.
Choosing Any Baby Can: A Personal Connection
When we sought an organization to support, we wanted one that reflected our values and provided opportunities for both our in-person and remote teams to get involved. Any Baby Can was the perfect fit. Our remote team members across the U.S. worked on the charity’s phone tree, reaching out to match donors with families, while our Austin staff collaborated to wrap and deliver gifts, ensuring that every family we supported would have a joyful holiday.
This effort hit close to home for many on our team. Years ago, one of our colleagues experienced the life-changing impact of a similar organization. At the time, their family was struggling to make ends meet—barely managing to pay rent, let alone provide gifts for the holidays. Then, a group of volunteers arrived with a dressed-up Santa, a sack of presents, and a holiday dinner. That moment gave their family hope during one of their darkest seasons, and ever since, they’ve made giving back a personal mission.
Supporting 14 Families: A Record-Breaking Effort
This year, Radiant adopted 14 families through Any Baby Can’s holiday program—the largest number supported by a single organization in the program’s history. Our team went above and beyond, fulfilling detailed wish lists that included everything from toys and books to warm clothing and practical items. Bikes, games, and other thoughtful gifts were also part of the mix, each chosen to make the holidays brighter for children and their parents.
On December 7, we delivered these gifts so they could be shared with families in time for Christmas. Adopt-a-Family was one of the largest events of the year for Any Baby Can, with over 200 donors providing more than 1,000 gifts to brighten the holidays for families in need. This monumental effort wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our entire team. From our Austin-based staff to our remote team members across the U.S., everyone played a role. Our call center even spearheaded a special outreach effort, contacting donors to ensure they had all the information needed to fulfill their assigned family’s wish lists. Seeing our team unite for such a meaningful cause was truly inspiring.
A Tradition of Giving Back
For 25 years, Radiant Plumbing & Air Conditioning has been proud to serve the Austin community, not just through plumbing and HVAC services, but by stepping up for causes that matter. This partnership with Any Baby Can was a reminder of the incredible impact we can have when we come together to help those in need.
