Oldest Water Heater Contest

You may have heard we are giving away two water heaters, one electric and one Gas, to the homeowners with the oldest water heater in town. It’s simple. If you have the oldest gas system in town and we can come verify it, you’ll get a brand new Rinnai Tankless Water Heater installed. FOR FREE. If you have an electric water heater system, we’re going to install a brand new, State Select High-Efficiency water heater in your home. Absolutely free. We just have to in and see it. You don’t have to buy anything. You don’t have to buy anything. You don’t have to DO anything. We have no idea how old this heater is going to be, but it sure is going to be fun finding out! There are a couple of rules. The contest is running the month of August.

  1. The heater has to be in to be in working, original condition.
  2. It has to be a manufactured water heater, no homemade hippie heaters.
  3. Contest limited to standard single family residential installations only. Apartments, Condos, and Mobile homes excluded.
  4. Contest limited to customers who call us to enter the City of Austin and west within the boundaries of HWY 71 and 620 including the towns of Westlake, Bee Caves, and Lakeway.
  5. All decisions of the judges will be final. This is not a game of chance.

The winning water heater shall be determined to be the “oldest” by the date code from the water heater serial number. In the event of a tie, the earliest entrant shall be the winner. Winner to be announced September 3rd on the website and by email. All we ask is for the winner to sign a photo release authorizing Radiant Plumbing to use photographs for promotional purposes. Photos to be taken before and after installation. The prize is limited to a standard tankless water heater replacement, up to $4,500 and a tank water heater replacement up to $1,700. Additional costs such as, but not limited to, permits and code required improvements are not included in contest prize.
