When is it going to rain? On December 2, central Texas was upgraded to an “exceptional” level drought. The future isn't looking too bright for more rain either("looking too cloudy" is more like it).From the look of the forecast we may be in this for a while.
We were at this Exceptional level in 2006 for a shorter period of time. Intense flooding filled our lakes for a while, and here we are again.
What does this have to do with us? Well, we need to save conserve water! Any drip you have is a serious water conservation issue. Here is what the City of Austin has to say...
