Is your shower is getting shorter due to not enough hot water?

Is your shower is getting shorter due to not enough hot water?

We have the answer!

Austin water is HARD. Minerals from your water are coating the walls of your water heater, and building up in the bottom. This makes it harder for the water to heat up, and also displaces water reducing your gallon capacity.

A clean water heater uses less energy, and provides you with the most hot water possible.

So, when was the last time you flushed your water heater? I know… You haven’t done it. I don’t blame you. Who wants to mess with that? Well, it could double the life of your water heater, and will certainly save you money, and preform better. Will you let us do this for you? Give us a call, and we can get you the hot water you need.

This is great advice for any homeowner in a hardwater area. Here in Kent is it particularly hard and this happens alot. Thanks for sharing this post.

Using less energy is a plus for all involved. Keeping your hot water heater in working order only seams to cross the minds of most home owners when the water turns ice cold in the middle of there shower. Using a professional to flush your hot water heater is always recommended!

That is incredible, never have i seen hard water damage like that, we are plumbers in devon and have serious hard water where we are but again have never seen that before. Maybe a water softner is a good idea?

This is one of the simplest things to have done, and yet most homeowners don’t even remember to do it. Of course then there is the other extreme, which includes those who try to do this themselves. Flushing out the hot water heater is definitely something you need a handyman for because it’s not as simple as it sounds!

Thanks for taking the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love learning more on this topic. If possible, as you gain expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more information? It is extremely helpful for me.

There’s nothing more painful than having to replace a five year old water heater because the inside components are just destroyed. We occasionally have people who try to flush the heaters on their own, but it takes two people, a hose, several buckets…DIY water heater flushing usually just ends up being a mess!
