That was FUN! Another great event put on by the Spicewood Volunteer Fire Department. I’ll start with the bad news. We blew a radiator hose right before our heat. Our repair (plumber style involved pvc pipe!) did not last, and we over heated. The engine locked up, and we were out. After the fire we thought we might have a lot of work getting the thing running, if running again was even possible. The good news… The car runs great! Now we have 12 months to make improvements, and we will be really ready for next year.

When the track is muddy, the crowd does not get dusted by the spinning tires. Just big clumps of mud.

The euphoria of surviving a 7 car pileup. Tommys third place winning car still runs. (we all know you were really second Tommy!)
