Radiant Plumbing Service had its first Demolition derby workday. A little late to be sure! We only have a couple of weeks left. The Spicewood Destruction Derby is on September 6th, so mark it on your calendar!

We had a great turnout. With so many people the deconstruction went pretty quick. I saw shovels, pliers, basin wrenches, pry bars, and all manner of plumber tools out wrecking this car. A mechanic would have had a nervous breakdown to see all the mayhem. The Ladies seemed to like breaking out the windows the best. This concerns me a little… I suppose it is a little stress relief.

My personal highlight was the contest to determine our driver. We had 3 contestants, and the tension had us all sweating as the intense battle of rock-paper-scissors played out before our eyes.  As nerves got the best of some, and others gave way to fatigue, Patrick Leger was the willey winner. Our best wishes go out to our fearless driver, and we hope that his snake-eyed determination will lead the Radiant Demolition Team to victory. (That is if we get the car ready in time : )
